24. When i click on 'check availability', i get 'RAC' in the availability status. What does it mean?

'RAC' i.e Reservation against cancellation means that the berth has not been assigned yet but the seat is confirmed. Once other passengers cancel their ticket, you'll be advanced on the RAC list and will be eventually allotted a berth. However you may be sharing the seat with another passenger.
