These terms are in addition to the General Terms of Use & Service as mentioned above. All the terms herein shall have the same meaning as defined therein unless specifically modified, altered, amended or changed herein.

GoTime Promise Details:


As a customer delight feature, Company has introduced the 'Go Time Promise'. Under the 'Go Time Promise' feature, Company will initiate cancellation and processing of refund for any flight booking within 1 hour ("GoTime"). In case Company fails to meet the GoTime Promise timeline, it will credit customer’s Goibibo account (in case of registered user) with GoCash plus amounting to INR100 for each 2 hours of delay beyond the GoTime, subject to a maximum of GoCash plus amounting to INR 500 for a booking.


Refund Gotime promise i.e. “Refund Processed” or “Refund sent to Bank” here under shall mean initiation of customer’s refund request to payment gateway and receipt of acknowledgement for the same from payment gateway by the Company.


GoTime Promise: Eligibility and other terms:


  • Applicable only for the Flights booked to travel within the territory of India.

  • Cancelled booking should be refundable in nature. Not valid for Non Refundable


  • Refund GoTime processing shall start post successful cancellation of booking in goibibo.

  • Company’s decision with regard to the calculation of GoTime and in case of delay

  • GoCash plus, shall be final, binding and undisputable.

  • In case customer already have maximum permissible limit of  Gocash plus in his account, he will not get the Gocash Plus initiated via Gotime Promise.

  • GoCash plus payable in case of delay in meeting GoTime Promise by Company per cancellation shall not exceed INR 500 for a booking.

  • Company reserves the right to discontinue GoTime Promise at any time without assigning any reasons whatsoever.

  • The reflection of the refund amount in customer’s bank account shall be subject to customer’s bank’s policy.

  • In case customer already have maximum permissible limit of  Gocash plus in his account, he will not get the Gocash Plus initiated via Gotime Promise.



GoTime Promise shall not be applicable in the following cases:


  • Cancellation of booking after due date.

  • If the refund amount against cancellation of a booking sums upto zero or less;

  • Cancellation of booking due to no-show;

  • Flight cancelled by customer directly with the concerned airline

  • Flight cancelled or flight time changed by airline

  • Refund arising out of amendment in a booking

  • Booking made through Company’s Business Partners. (HDFC Smart Buy, Kotak Mobile App, Citi Premier Miles, Apps Daily, Samsung Galaxy Platform)

  • Booking cancellation control is taken over by concerned airline i.e. if the travel time is within 4 hours of cancellation request then the concerned airline may not permit the cancellation.

  • Booking cancellation due to Medical emergency OR In case there is requirement of necessary documents from airline OR from customer

  • Package bookings i.e. Flight plus Hotel / Bus


Company powers to add to the list of exceptions where GoCash plus compensations are exempt.
